About me

I have more than 25 years of experience in the area of Finance and Accounting.

After completing my training as a banker, I concentrated on the area of regulatory reporting where I first worked as a team member and later in a managerial capacity responsible for the preparation and monitoring of regulatory and statistical reports for the German Central Bank. Further tasks included the balancing and evaluation of derivative products, the monitoring of money market and foreign currency limits as well as the establishment of value at risk statistics and the accounting and preparation of the annual reports for subsidiaries.

Within this department, I was the responsible project manager for the introduction of the SAMBA reporting software and the related reorganization of the department. This was followed by the introduction of SAMBAplus and ultimately replacement of these components through the Abacus DaVinci system.

Focus then shifted more and more to projects where as project manager I was responsible for the overall area of finance as well as banking and technical support and further development of the system landscape.

Major changes in the system landscape of the bank included the implementation of a European platform within the framework of a European Wealth Management Initiative, the implementation of a global Accounting and Reporting software and the implementation of a global Single Wealth Management Platform.

In addition, continuous regulatory developments took place (Deposit Protection Funds, MFI Interest Rate Statistics) as well as further projects such as European Value Added Tax, the Electronic Balance Sheet (taxonomy) or the implementation of a Treasury function.

I also have experience in various migrations and mergers as well as on a foundation of a Europe SE that I accompanied.

These tasks also led to international assignments with a focus on Zurich, London and New York as well as other European cities such as Luxemburg, Milan, Paris or Madrid.

I have an excellent knowledge of project management as well as strong expertise in Finance and Accounting together with excellent technical know-how and skills.

In addition, I am always strongly committed, reliable and preserving and have a high analytical intellectual capability combined with decision-making abilities. With my ability to communicate in an open and honest way, I have the ability to motivate teams to perform well.
